EDFM are based in Chelmsford, and our team have many years experience of dealing with that most tricky of EPoS data areas, the Independents sector. This sector is by far the most difficult of UK fmcg retail to gather, clean, process and read. We have chosen to specialise in this area, and have built up the biggest read by far available, by consolidating data from a number of different companies who also specialise in Independents. Our turnaround is very fast and we can go right down to the lowest details of individual transactions. We have enough coverage of the UK that we can monitor selected regions to a commercially acceptable extent.
We are delighted to also include small multiples as part of our portfolio, which complements our main independents read, although we do keep them separate.
EDFM specialise in getting value and insight into this otherwise elusive, but nonetheless important “independents” sector for our clients.
